Clean Technology & Sustainability
SOURCE Water’s social media output had evolved organically, resulting in inconsistent layouts, fragmented visual language, and a lack of cohesion across platforms. I was brought in to review existing social content, assess alignment with the wider brand, and define a clear, repeatable social design system that could support both everyday posts and campaign-led content.
I began by reviewing SOURCE’s existing social channels alongside their core brand guidelines, identifying where interpretation and inconsistency were weakening brand presence. From this foundation, I developed a dedicated social media design guide that extended the brand into digital-first environments. The system defined typography, colour usage, layout principles, content hierarchy, and modular components for repeatable use. Particular emphasis was placed on creating space for more emotive storytelling, allowing SOURCE to communicate around sustainability and water scarcity in a way that felt human, considered, and visually consistent. The result was a flexible framework that balanced structure with creative freedom.
The social media design system brought clarity and consistency to SOURCE Water’s digital presence while strengthening emotional connection with its audience. It enabled faster content creation, reduced visual fragmentation, and reinforced brand equity across platforms. Most importantly, it gave SOURCE a clear and confident way to communicate its purpose through social media, without losing flexibility or authenticity.
