
Purelab is a contemporary aromatherapy brand built on the belief that wellbeing begins with ritual. In a crowded essential oils market dominated by earthy clichés and generic wellness tropes, the challenge was to create a brand that felt modern, premium and emotionally resonant, without losing the authenticity at its core.
This project explores how refined visual language, colour psychology and storytelling can elevate a natural product into a lifestyle experience.

The essential oils industry is saturated with “natural” cues, muted greens, kraft textures, botanical illustrations. Purelab needed to feel rooted in nature, but not stuck in it. The solution was a brand system that blends softness with sophistication: warm gradient environments, rich botanical patterns, confident typography and a distinctive droplet detail integrated into the wordmark.
Each oil variant is expressed through its own tonal world, lavender in calming violets, citrus in vibrant ambers, clary sage in grounded greens, creating a cohesive but flexible system across packaging, social, editorial and digital touch-points.
From tactile unboxing experiences to immersive web design and social storytelling, the brand positions Purelab not just as a product, but as a ritual. Carefully distilled. Beautifully presented. Designed to feel considered at every interaction.
